Rack Modules

Our rack-mounted modules are designed to extend functionality, enhance connectivity, and provide advanced control options for voice alarm systems. Each module fits on a DIN-rail for easy installation and integrates seamlessly via L-Net communication bus with redundant connections for reliability.

Key capabilities across modules:

  • Interface modules: enable fiber-optic or copper connectivity for long-distance communication and system integration.
  • Zone extension modules: expand speaker line capacity with intelligent switching, dual-path redundancy (A/B), and built-in loudspeaker monitoring for line integrity.
  • Amplifier & monitoring modules: support multiple amplifier channels with surveillance features, impedance checks, and end-of-line detection.
  • GPIO modules: offer programmable inputs and outputs for external triggers, fire microphone integration, and system status monitoring.
  • Audio matrix modules: provide multi-channel audio routing, mixing, and equalization with options for SD-card message playback and network control.

Technical basic specifications

  • directly connected to a single/dual output line of the C500 / DCA2.500 amplifier. The SW6 Zone extender and switching module subdivides the signal path A & B into 6x additional surveilled speaker-line outputs
  • all SW6-outputs can be individually addressed and are carrying signal path A or B
  • each output can switch to internal 20kHz line surveillance generator (path C)
  • each switched output zone requires an EOL-device for line-integrity detection
